MD-MT821 EEPROM settings were taken from my unit (EEPROM version d).
-
MD-MS721/722 EEPROM settings as specified in the EEPROM data list (version
f) taken from the German service manual. This manual can be ordered
(about 8.50 EUR) from Schaltungsdienst Lange, as far as I know you can
get the English manual there as well.
-
MD-MS701/702 EEPROM settings as specified in the EEPROM data list taken
from the service manual provided by the Minidisc Community Page (MDCP,
MD-MS701 service manual).
- AUTO1, AUTO2 I haven't tried these modes because I think a high
and low reflective test MD (which I do now own) will be needed to
complete the adjustments. If you should gain experience with the
AUTO1/AUTO2 mode using normal MDs please email what you find out to Forian Rist.
-
T_PLAY, T_REC, INNER, Normal My MT821 reported ´Er.ADJ.´ whenever
I tried to enter these modes. I suppose you have to execute AUTO1 and AUTO2
before you will be able to enter these modes.
-
To enter TEST mode on the Sharp portable MD units you have to ensure your
unit is in standby mode (press STOP twice) than hold down DISP and BASS
and press PLAY. The µC and EEPROM version will be displayed for a
second, then the whole display will light up for two seconds. Now the unit
is in TEST mode. Please do not enter TEST mode until you know exactly what
you are doing. Improper use of TEST mode can seriously damage your unit!
Please refer to the information on TEST mode on the Minidisc
Community Page. If you should be unable to find what you are
looking for feel free to ask me.
